BES STUDENT INVITED TO NATIONAL INVENTION CONVENTION

Lillian Frechette was one of the three students from BES to attend the State Invention Convention at held at UConn this spring. Lillian was outstanding at her first state level competition winning three special awards in addition to a top prize for her age group. She was then invited to the National Convention held at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan where she represented CT well. Lillian is taking advantage of this opportunity and has subsequently spoken at an environmental forum in Wethersfield where she met professors from Yale and professionals from the DEP.
Lillian's awards: Connecticut Safety Society Award, Boehringer Cares Foundation in Life Sciences Award, and the Environmentally Friendly Award
