CT NEWS ANCHOR - LAURA HUTCHINSON VISITS BES

On October 24th, CT news anchor and TV personality, Laura Hutchinson visited with our third and fourth grade classes. She spoke to them about the broadcasting field and what kinds of jobs are done to put on the daily news. Her presentation was informative and inspiring. Her presentation was especially interesting to our grade four students because they put on a daily live news show with the help of Mrs. Therrien, the Library Media Specialist. Laura Hutchinson was happy to connect with our students and her former fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Therrien.
